I had my first paid freelance job the thursday just gone, at Selfridges as stylist assistant (I am now on their freelance stylist assistant books), helping prep and assisting on a womenswear shoot, I am also working there on monday and tuesday. So exciting!
I have also finished my month interning at ASOS, which I am sad about because I really enjoyed it there! On my last day I got to comprise the 'Daily Edits' feature for the ASOS International website which will be up on Monday! Exciting right?! So check out the daily edits on monday to see what pieces I chose for the Sale, Occasion Wear and Date Night!
For now here are the 20 pieces I chose for each section, which adhere to the ASOS daily edit guidelines which were then edited down by myself and the senior fashion editor to the final 12.
Here is the date night edit - the red stars are the pieces that the fashion editor edited down. I went for a Black, white and Oxblood theme for this one.
Here is the Occassion Daily Edit for Monday - the red stars are the pieces that the fashion editor edited down. When picking products I went for a Black & Gold theme.
This is the Sale edit. For this one I chose pieces within a brown/orange tone range! These will all up on the site under the 'Daily Edits' section on monday!
Although my internship is over they have asked me to go and do a trail week with the editorial design team as freelance junior graphic designer week commencing the 14th! With this job I will be designing the layouts for the ASOS Magazine, as well as the website and the ASOS Fashion Up app (if you havent got this already - it's amazing, download it now!) These opportunities just go to show that if you work hard, you do benefit at the end of it!
What I wore on my last day interning at ASOS! Apologies for the rubbish photo and my messy room, I'm the first up in my household at 6am with my sister in bed until 8 so i'm going to have to work my way around having photos taken of my outfits! I'm just so inlove with my new Topshop Tweed dungarees I had to show you! I brought them on my lunch at ASOS on Thursday! I got this hot pink beanie from H&M, only £7.99 also!
I paired my dungarees and beanie with my H&M jewel necklace - £8.99
So i'll have lots of behind the scenes pictures to show you - don't forget I have an instagram @hc_fashion_blog which I post lots of live behind the scenes stuff you wont find on my blog, so follow me on there!
